About the Speed boat tour to the Hong islands

This one day tour takes you to one of Krabi’s most beautiful areas: the Hong islands. The tour includes lunch, drinking water, snorkeling equipment and hotel transfers to and from your hotel. This is surely one of the highlights of your holiday! Please note that the entrance fee to the National Park is excluded from the price. For adults the price is THB 300 and children pay THB 100. The national park fee is payable to the Thai government directly and is used to preserve the area.

What to expect on this tour

The day tour starts with a pickup from your hotel in Krabi town, Ao Nang, Tub Kaek or Klong Muang. Our driver will pick you up at around 8:00, together with a professional English speaking guide. The trip to the boat pier takes around 1 hour, depending on the location of your hotel.

At 9:00 we arrive at the pier. From here we take the speed boat to our first destination: the Hong island lagoon. This beautiful lagoon is actually an emerald pool that is encircled by high cliffs. Be sure to bring a camera as this is an amazing photo opportunity. We navigate slowly through the lagoon and make our way to the next stop: Pakbia island.

Pakbia island is known for its white sandy beach and crystal clear waters. You can go swimming here or use our masks and snorkels to explore the underwater life and coral. For those who would like to relax or take photos: the place is very photogenic! Sit down on the swings on the beach or just relax in the shadow of the trees.

In Hong island’s bay, our next stop, we enjoy a tasty Thai buffet lunch. For vegetarians there are options available as well. Choose from a variety of Traditional Thai dishes and get some energy for the afternoon part of the trip.

Our last stop is Lading island. This beautoful island has a sheltered cove with bird’s nests and is also a great photo opportunity. If you’re not tired by then, grab a mask and snorkel again and jump in! The crystal clear water offers abundant marine life and you make your way through the many reefs below.

At the end of a busy but rewarding day it’s time to get back to your hotel in Krabi town, Tub Kaek, Ao Nang or Klong Muang. We should arrive there at around 15:30. A day full of images and experiences never to forget. Book it online now!

loved it!

we took a brand new speedboat from the pier next to ao nang beach (forgot the name) and the guides took us in about 20 minutes to a couple of islands nearby. The first 2 were quite busy but we visited in high season, so that's what you get. The last stops were the Hong lagoon and Hong island, which were my personal favorite. Absolutely beautiful and quiet. Must do tour in Krabi!

Thank you for the nice day out. One word of advice: please provide life jackets for infants. Other than that we had a great trip.

Excellent trip with a fairly new boat. Our guide explained about the various sights and helped my father snorkeling for the first time. I cannot say otherwise: great trip and highly recommended!
